hflow stops immediately

Reported by: vkal Owned by: [email protected]
Priority: major Milestone: roo-1.4
Component: Honeywall Version: 1.4 Release
Keywords: hflow stops Cc:

Description

I have recently installed roo1.4 cd-rom and updated hflow to 1.99.26-2. After a few hours working, hflow stopped. Every time i restarted it, it stopped immediately.

Note: to update hflow i changed /etc/yum.repos.d/honeynet.repo baseurl to http://yum.honeynet.org/roo/repo-1.4/ , because the old one was not working, and run yum update under root.

I have recently installed roo1.4 cd-rom and updated hflow to 1.99.26-2. After a few hours working, hflow stopped. Every time i restarted it, it stopped immediately. After rebooted honeywall it seemed to be working properly, but stopped again, after a while. When i tried to restart it, with honeypot still running, it failed showing the following error:

premature failure. Initialitazion aborted? Parent sighandler, something Received, exiting!

After stopping honeypot and trying again, it runs for a few minutes or seconds, and then stops again.

Note: to update hflow i changed /etc/yum.repos.d/honeynet.repo baseurl to http://yum.honeynet.org/roo/repo-1.4/ , because the old one was not working, and run yum update under root.
